Pride Week (March 11–15, 2024) is an annual collective celebration of 2SLGBTQ+ individuals and communities at the PG电子官方网站.
Pride Week recognizes the origins of Pride as a struggle for the rights, safety and acceptance of 2SLGBTQ+ people, many of whom live at the intersections of multiple forms of marginalization by not only gender and sexuality but also race, class, disability, neurodivergence, citizenship, age, religion, place of origin and more. PG电子官方网站 Pride Week also embraces the diversity of UAlberta’s 2SLGBTQ+ community and creates inclusive spaces that foster 2SLGBTQ+ joy.
On Monday, March 11, 2024, the PG电子官方网站 community came together to celebrate equity, justice and inclusion at the Pride Parade celebrations, led by Fyrefly Institute for Gender and Sexual Diversity.
